2018 AUT Communication Design Graduate Exhibition 



Shift was a student lead exhibition held at the end of 2018 to highlight the graduates of AUT’s Communication Design Degree’s final work.

The teams I worked on were responsible for both the branding of the event, as well as the online presence and digital showcase of the students work.

The concept of the brand centred around the idea of designers having to be versatile, needing to shift (see what we did there) their way through whatever the industry has to throw at them.

We tried to embody this concept throughout our overall website design - both in the visual aspects, and the experience the user has when interacting with it. This can be seen through various components of the website animating at different speeds, to the scrolling changing direction as the user scrolls down.
